Excellent Greek Cuisine - and Many Gluten-Free Options, Too!

We ate lunch at Greek Village before boarding the Autotrain; and excellent choice if you are gluten-intolerant. Everything was authentic and very good - although the stuffed grape leaves would have been even better if served chilled (a minor quibble). We took two orders of the vegetarian ones for the train trip. The place was busy - a good sign - with many repeat customers - an even better sign. The staff, especially Katie, was excellent and attentive. Definitely recommended, and we will be back! - John W.

Favorite Place in Lake Mary
Love Love Love this place! Thanks to other Yelpers, I found this gem in Lake Mary. I just moved here from So Cal and have been trying many different places to eat and almost gave up on good food in North Orlando until I came to the Greek Village. Their food is authentic and super flavorful. The hummus, Greek salad and desserts are excellent! I've been going every week now, the waitresses are super nice and even remember you when you walk in, by far my favorite place in Lake Mary! - Ann I.

Best Greek!
I always love getting a Gyro from this spot. Their soup is also great and fresh salads. The spice on the French fries is SO yummy!! Super busy at lunchtime. Well worth the wait. - Sully C.

Great Little Lunch Spot
Waitresses always remember you and are very accommodating, going out of their way to make your meal great. It's really a great value for what you get. I usually get the gyro lunch with Greek salad and I always leave full. The cucumber sauce is just right and i love that you can see them shave the gyro meat from the spindle from your table.Very dependable service and great food sums this place up. - Eric J.

Fabulous Locally Owned Restaurant

Finding this restaurant can seem difficult but don’t give up. It is located in a large shopping center on the side. Persevere—it is worth the search. We went for an early dinner and watched the place fill with customers who obviously were regulars and treated like family by a friendly, knowledgeable staff. We had the gyro plate with a side of green beans with garlic and tomatoes. The beans were so delicious- I may never eat green beans any other way!! I was less interested in the Greek potatoes...good, but I’m not a big potato person. The gyro was well seasoned but mine was a bit dry. But all in all the food was really good and reasonably priced.

Passionate Chef
I have been to the Village three times and each time I was a happy camper.  It is hard to find but worth the trip.  The restaurant is clean and spartan in design. I talked with the Chef and he is passionate about his Greek heritage and cuisine.  My wife loves Gyros portions are very generous,  the fries are sprinkled with an Herb seasoning which adds a nice touch.  their Chicken, Rice and Lemon Soup is well rounded and not overpowering. My favorite is the Athenian Kabob  marinated Lamb (more lemon and herbs) on skewer with peppers and onions accompanied by the fries of course.  The lamb is tender and the flavors just mingle well. The service is friendly and honest try the Marathon Beer (yup even the Greek make a good beer)  and keep going back.  I will.  – Theo H.

Will Return
Greek Village is a well oiled machine. They are super busy at lunch with loads of takeout orders from nearby businesses. That is always a good sign.

I ordered two Greek salads with Grilled chicken and a gyro lunch special.  We wanted good fresh vegetables that weren't soaked in dressing, and that's exactly what we got.  The grilled chicken had a smoky flavor that was delicious.  All in all it offers a healthy lunch opportunity, perfect for those watching their waistbands.

The gyro was delicious as well.  It was a good size, with tons of tzatziki sauce, fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion.  Overall a delicious bite!

We will be returning for sure. Next time, we'll try some of their other entree dishes. - Liz H

Feels Like Home
Excellent salad as it was very fresh with a great dressing. The gyro meat was carved and warmed just right. The star of the show was the hummus. It was prepared with a perfect combination of flavor and texture.

The ambiance is very much a clean "mom and pop" type place with tables and chairs. The patrons all seemed to be regulars considering one of the cooks and servers made the rounds talking with folks. The server even pulled up a chair to a few tables and camped out.

This seems to be a pretty good spot. I only wish I lived closer. – Daniel B.

Fast. Friendly & Tasty

Coming from a Greek I have high expectations from Greek cuisine and am usually left disappointed. We stopped for lunch and they had a truly packed house. We were deciding between Greek and a deli but when you see it being that busy and have the highest rated reviews you always follow the crowd. Service was very efficient and friendly. Food came out very quickly and they offer good lunch specials. Don’t miss out on the avgolemono soup as it’s very good. We will be back.
